In 2017, Standish coordinated the spay/neuter of 311 female cats and 243 male cats.
Of these, 279 were Standish Humane shelter cats. The shelter does not take in dogs, but we helped 23 female dogs be spayed and 22 male dogs be neutered. We would like to thank the area veterinarians listed here who participate in our program as well as the Animal Rescue League of Boston for bringing its “Spay Waggin” mobile surgical van to Holmes House each month.
