Board of Directors and Staff 2019
Vice President/ Board Member
Lynn has been a board member at Standish since 2014, and is currently the vice-president. She makes the cat videos that Standish posts on Petfinder, she is involved in the featured cat and the cat sponsorship programs, and she writes for the Tall Tails Newsletter. Her very favorite thing to do, however, is showing potential adopters our cats and making just the right match.
Lynn is a retired transplant from New Orleans, Louisiana. She practiced corporate law for many years. During the last few years of her career, she conducted hearings involving judges who had allegedly violated the state judicial ethics code.
She, her husband, and their three elderly cats moved to Plymouth, Massachusetts from New Orleans in January 2012 right after she retired to be near their only child who lived Cambridge.
Lynn was introduced to cats by her husband who had grown up with them. She was much more familiar with dogs than cats, but over the next forty years, she had five cats, all of whom lived to a ripe old age, some of them making it to 20 or older. Her last New Orleans cat died in 2018, and she adopted a beautiful black Standish cat she named Macavity..
