The Hope Fund
The Hope Fund was created in honor of Laura and her beloved cat, Hope—a symbol of love, resilience, and selfless giving. While facing stage-4 cancer, Laura chose to foster cats for Standish Humane Society, even during hospital stays and intensive treatments. She often said the cats helped her as much as she helped them.
Through fostering, Laura and her family created a legacy of compassion—saving lives, offering comfort, and proving that even in the hardest moments, kindness can thrive. Her strength and dedication continue to inspire us.
Donations to The Hope Fund go directly to the Standish Humane Society Foster Program, providing supplies, medical care, and support for foster families—so more cats can be saved, just as Laura did, one life at a time.
